Last Tuesday, as you saw from my massive post over the weekend, we had a Turkish feast unrivaled by any past meal at 95 Gazi Pasha. The menu included....
Mint-Cinnamon Aubergine Pilaf: another recipe from my fancy Turkish cookbook. This one, like others in the past, turned out deliciously.
Cauliflower Casserole: a simple but tasty dish. We made a quick yogurt sauce, poured it over raw cauliflower, put some red pepper and cheese on top and popped it in the oven
Carrot-Yogurt Salad: my favorite salad to make! Yum, yum, yum! Diana added it to her cookbook list. (We're also planning to make it again tonight!)
Put it all together (along with some Trabzon Ekmek) and you get a plate like this! Afiyet olsun!
BONUS: Turkish Thirsty Thursday!
Diana and I decided to cook something real again on Thursday night, and made another casserole of sorts. We chopped up lots of veggies, poured in some mushroom soup, and tossed some delicious croutons on top...then ate the whole thing. :-)
