For this Turkish Tuesday, I decided to tackle another Turkish staple, and a dish that, though deceptively straight-forward, has been tricking me into unsatisfactory meals for months.

The challenge: pilav. Turkish white rice. Sauteed in sizzling butter with a few finely chopped onions. Steamed with garbanzo beans. Served with leftover Thanksgiving chicken and a side of green onion & pepper yogurt.
The result: delicious, warm comfort food. Yep, I'll probably be making more later this week.
All my love and happy cooking from Yalova! -A.
